Patron saint of Palma. Celebrated the 20-th January.
According to the legend, San Sebastian was a Roman soldier in the 3-rd century, whose relic saved Palma from the plague and is now exposed in the Cathedral museum. He refused to fight his brothers as he was a Christian in Ancient Rome and for this he was sentenced to death.
On his day along the Paseo Sagrera a line of stalls is set up, selling local handicraft and gastronomy.
